Every 4th of the month we go to Kapolei location for my son Ethan's and daughter Hailey's haircut. As a mother of three I was so happy of the results of how exactly they knew what they wanted. Both haircuts was on point. We would to thank Gina our stylist for an excellent service and job well done. ;)

Little more than two (2) ago, I needed a haircut. Went to your Kapolei location and was informed there would be delay until a stylist was available. Tori did a great job of cutting my hair exactly how I wanted. I want to return (07-21-2022) but the phone is constantly busy or it my have been accidentally left off the hook. Hopefully this could be remedied since I not really into computer check-ins.

I was fortunate to have a Hairstylist named Jazy, twice. She’s always got a happy attitude and concern of making the full experience better than you expected. In just 2 visits, she dialed in my haircut to perfection. From now on, I don’t need to explain nothing, just sit in the chair and enjoy the ride. Much Mahalos!

My stylist, Nawang, was very unprofessional and did a rush-job. She did not ask me for all the details of how I wanted my hair like key points; sideburns, rounded or square back, etc... It became much worse during the actual haircut process when she jabbed me quite hard with the clippers in the back of my neck. She didn't apologize and just continued on. I stopped her and felt for any bleeding and she said there was no blood and continued. The pain got worse and I kept feeling that spot to make sure there was no blood. It's been a few hours since my haircut and the spot which got hit is still throbbing. Unfortunately it didn't get much better. Since she was rushing through the whole process, she didn't let the scissors close completely as she trimmed the hair and kept pulling hairs out as she went along. I also have fine hair which usually needs to be wet before trimming, as I have been told by other stylists, but she trimmed dry which irritated. During payment their POS app crashed and went back to the desktop. I told her this and she kept telling me to put my card in and I told her a few times that it wasn't working. She got mad at me, muttered something under her mask, came around to restart the app like I was supposed to do it. Then I was finally able to complete the payment. I wish I could attach a photo because what prompted me to write this review is I took a photo of the back of my neck that's still hurting and it is very red right now and there's a bald patch where it rammed into the back of my neck just above my neck line.

Your new app is wasting people’s time! I checked in online and the app says my stylist will be available in 45 minutes. 5 minutes later, I got a text saying my stylist will be ready in 15 minutes. I tried to get there in time but I live 20 minutes away. My check in was cancelled as soon as I got there. So I had to check in again. The wait was one hour long. I’m so pissed! The lady at Kapolei Sports Clips was super rude about it too. Her name is Kimy and could care less with what I have to say. She blamed it on the new app and just ignored me after I was still talking to her. I get that they might be busy but a little compassion would go a long way. I overhead her talking to someone on the phone and she had the same attitude. She said the wait time was one hour long and hung up the phone. Zero compassion or customer service. I’m super disappointed with Kimy and the app.

Less than a week ago I called about 10:25 am to see if they had an 11 am availability. They said they don't do reservations on the phone any more, I would need to go online myself and get on a wait list, she refused to add me to the wait list herself. She said there was no wait at the time so I showered and was in store by 11. Now there was 3 people ahead of me with an approximate 28 minute wait time. I waited for 20 minutes but had to get to work so I left. I commented on how bad the Customer Service was to Kimy & Jess, one of whom I had spoken on the phone with. After calling the store and speaking to your Employee I don't feel I should have to hang up and then go online myself to be put on a wait list. Your employees should be better at Customer Service. During these trying times I would expect your Business to be more Customer friendly and not have 2 of your employees spurt out " it's not our Policy ". I have enjoyed going to this particular Sports Clips in the past but I will now take my business elsewhere due to the attitude of these 2 women and your Policies that make me have to jump through to many hoops to get a simple haircut. Your competitors win and you lose out on $$$, not very smart in these economic times.

Don't go to Gina. She literally ruined my son's hair and had the audacity to say that was what was on his file. I double checked with the other stylist and his notes say way different than what was produced. Never again going to first available.

the Stylist Lauren t. Should start with a better attitude or shouldn’t work being a stylist at all this is my second time here obviously lauren t. was having a bad day which gives no right to be irritated at the customers who’s paying for haircuts I watched her throughout my wait and was in disbelief on how unprofessinal she was constantly on her phone and not focus at all on her task at hand it was simple basic fades which bothered me because she was unsure of what to do thruout the haircuts of the customers unfortunately when my name was called she was my stylist although I didn’t want her cutting my hair there was a bit of a wait time and didn’t want to wait any longer if I was the boss there I would keep a close eye on her she shows no respect for sports clips at all knowing that’s who she represents I think she belongs working in a warehouse
